April 26, 2025: Earth Day in NYC
Street Works and Queens Mutual Aid will be out on the streets April 26th for Earth Day, along with hundreds of others participating in activities, DOT’s Car Free Earth Day. Come say hi!

Dec 11, 2024: Elmhurst Community Partnership Coat Drive Recap
In 2024, Queens mutual aid, hosted by Kaleidospace, Veggie Nuggets, and MJN/Street Works supported Elmhurst Community Partnership’s (ECP) big warm clothing drive. Thanks to community, our young network gathered and distributed 47 pairs of socks, 10 pairs of women's tights, and 15 pairs of gloves in less than one week and in partnership with 3 local shops. Dec 2, 2024: Coat Drive Planning
Meeting 4: Monday Dec 2, 2024 @ 6pm on Zoom. We'll pick up where we left off in planning specific projects, and updates on specific political education topics that have come up. As always, will hold space for how everyone is doing and new ideas.

Nov 17, 2024: Queens Mutual Aid & Reflection
Veggie Nuggets, Kaleidospace, and Street Works/MJN are held our 2nd small potluck on Sunday @ 7:30pm @ Suryaside Yoga, 49-06 Skillman Ave, Woodside, Queens, to continue planning next steps on mutual aid network building, hold space for voter education, and continue to be together as we think about what our communities need to support justice, including climate justice, in 2025 and beyond.

Nov 10, 2024: Queens Mutual Aid & Reflection
Veggie Nuggets, Kaleidospace, and Street Works/MJN held a small potluck on Sunday @ 4:30pm @ 2nd Story Pilates and Yoga Studio (between 81st and 82nd on 37th ave in Jackson Heights) to start brainstorming what a local mutual aid network could look like, hold space for voter education, and generally just be together as we think about what our communities need to support justice, including climate justice, in 2025 and beyond.
